We are proud to say that Guardian is a manifestation of Nordgreen. We have a long-term vision to change the watch industry from within and move away from the fashion industry’s mass-production, where products are conceived to expire. Therefore, the thinking behind Guardian is to extend the life of the watch to the maximum, as much as 100 years.

The creation of Guardian is our attempt to develop the world’ most sustainable watch. Its creation was based on a sustainability research and development project in which we made sure all essential factors were accounted for. From design, choice of materials, corrosion resistance and transport costs, to service, repair and the ramifications of refurbishing, or recycling, the findings informed every element of Guardian by Nordgreen.
